The Bush Administration has discovered the power of moderated chat rooms. Their new online feature, Ask the White House, has already featured Chief of Staff Andy Card, EPA Administrator Christie Whitman, and White House Counsel Alberto Gonzales.
Just when you think it's all screened, moderated pablum, the transcript includes this question of Judge Gonzales from Rich in New York City: "Could you and Miguel Estrada take Chuck Schumer and Ted Kennedy in a tag team wrestling match? Could tag team wrestling be a compromise to the gridlock which has kept so many nominees in limbo?"
Of course, there's some run-of-the-mill controversy, too.
