With the launch of Portland Mayor Tom Potter's blog, three of the five members of the Portland City Council are now blogging - each with full comments turned on.
It all started in July 2004 with Commissioner Randy Leonard, who joined the crew over at BlueOregon and continues to post his ruminations -- politics, policy, and personal -- on a regular basis.
Then, in early 2005, Commissioner Sam Adams launched his own blog at CommissionerSam.com - with everyone on his staff posting updates, announcing policy decisions, and more.
(Of course, embarassingly enough, the other members of the council - Erik Sten and Dan Salztman - are both our clients. Not to worry, they'll start blogging regularly soon enough. Things really are changing in Portland.)
